You know these phrases inside you: I'm not enough, I can't do this, I'm too stupid, etc. Most people have countless unhelpful programming within them that blocks their entire life. The problem is that many aren't aware of this and act based on unconscious patterns. This, of course, can lead to unsatisfactory results externally. So, if you feel like you're blocked, that certain events keep coming into your life, and you have a deep desire for more contentment, you can work on your belief patterns. First, you should identify them, question them, and then resolve them. This article will help you take the first steps.

    Negative beliefs: What are they?

The term is being used more and more frequently. People are realizing that the programming we have unconsciously created within us plays a major role in our lives. Therefore, many conscious people are trying to work on it and change it.

These are unconscious thought patterns that we have already adopted as small children. Up until the age of seven, our thought pool is strongly influenced by external voices, especially until the age of two. During this toddlerhood, we absorb everything we are told. Therefore, it is important that parents be mindful of what they say to very young children.

Newly born babies don't yet have any programming. This programming develops over time – whether through their parents, their environment, their grandparents, their own experiences, etc.

Know this : Belief patterns aren't inherently bad. For example, someone who learned from others as a toddler that money is easy to earn will find it much easier later in life. The belief "I am enough" or something similar can also be ingrained in families where children were praised and treated with appreciation. Nevertheless, it's important to expose the bad ones and replace them with helpful ones.

    • Positive belief: They make your life happy and satisfying.
    • Negative belief: They slow you down, like a computer virus would.

How is belief related to behavior?

To understand this principle even better, we need to go deeper into step 1.

Beliefs reside in the subconscious, and as we know, they influence our behavior even more strongly than our conscious mind. Behaving in a certain way attracts corresponding experiences into our lives. These, in turn, reinforce the subconscious.

This cycle can only be broken by becoming aware of and dissolving your unconscious belief patterns. Additional positive affirmations will make your life more beautiful, clearer, and more successful.

How can negative belief patterns be dissolved?

Anyone who has understood that these inner patterns are not conducive to a successful life will want to dissolve them.

Nowadays, there are various coaching techniques and coaches who can help you create a new foundation. Of course, everyone has their own ideas and finds certain methods easier than others.

In the following section, you'll learn the step-by-step instructions for changing the programming you want to let go of. You'll see how much this can impact your life.

    Step 1: Identify beliefs

First and foremost, it's important to recognize and become aware of your belief patterns. With a little sensitivity, empathy, and self-reflection, you'll stumble upon more and more belief patterns over time.

If you continually look at these and work with them, you will gradually change your thoughts towards yourself and find peace.

To make it easier for you to recognize your deep-rooted patterns, we've compiled a short list of the most common ones. Perhaps you can apply some of them to yourself. If that doesn't help, it's helpful to also observe yourself in everyday life and notice your thoughts.

    • I am not enough
    • I am too thin
    • I am too fat
    • I can't do that
    • Money is stupid
    • Rich people are evil
    • I must not make mistakes
    • I have to do everything alone
    • I'm alone
    • I must not be angry
    • I have to please
    • Making money is hard
    • Only those who work hard earn money

This is just a taste of all the belief patterns we can have within us.

    Step 2: Deal with them

Once you've managed to discover these patterns, you can ask yourself where they come from. Perhaps you had a grandfather who always told you that wealthy people are evil or that it must be hard to make money. This has become so deeply ingrained in you that your life is now structured this way. Your identity has, so to speak, adapted to your belief patterns. Observing your own thoughts is very important. Use quiet meditation or gentle yin yoga sequences on your mat to do this.

    Step 3: Changing belief patterns

Detecting, recognizing, and understanding belief patterns isn't enough. Now it's about changing or eliminating them. There are various techniques. One of them is Theta Healing. This method is unique and used by certified practitioners. It allows beliefs to be removed from the subconscious and replaced with helpful patterns.

This is a promising opportunity to work on this sustainably and efficiently. Only when the old one is gone can the new one be integrated.

It is also useful if you:

    • constantly say the positive sentences with which you want to replace the old (at least 30-60 days).
    • Write down the positive belief patterns on Post-its and stick them on the mirror and the refrigerator, for example, or set them as your screen background.
    • Make an audio that you can listen to while driving, running, or cooking.

This will remind you again and again and make it easier for you to integrate these positive patterns into your life.

Especially for those people who think very negatively, this is essential to bring about real change.

    Yoga, meditation and beliefs

Those who want to support their mind, body, and consciousness in integrating these new patterns can incorporate yoga and meditation. Sitting on your meditation cushion daily and giving yourself time and space has a profound impact. Furthermore, a daily meditation practice is a great start to becoming aware of your belief patterns.

Yoga can help you find your center, practice mindfulness, and strengthen the harmony between body, mind, and soul. This can also be helpful during times when you want to change your belief patterns. Try it out and find the path that works for you.

But remember one thing: You have the right to get rid of all your negative belief patterns. They don't serve you. Only when you program yourself positively can you be freer and happier.
